We had a horrible experience at Dan Gable's lake house! We spent $1000 to stay here for three nights, and for the use of an 18-foot ski boat while we were there. Despite a prior phone call assuring me otherwise, there was NO water under the boat dock! We had to paddle the broken down canoe about thirty minutes just to get to water deep enough to swim in. Dan NEVER brought the boat by, and of course, he simply stopped taking our phone calls. He completely stranded us at his broken-down, decrepit property, complete with leaking freezer and broken water pipe in the kitchen. We left after two nights because we just couldn't bear it any longer. Of course he charged our credit card for the full amount... Dan Gable is a thief and a low-life....
