I bought a filtration set for 235 dollars incl. shipping. It was unusable due to a missing item. When I filed a "not as described" dispute with eBay, the seller blackmailed me by demanding that he would only send me the item if I would retract the dispute first, leaving me with no options left for a refund or even the missing item.
The seller does not even mention his name in our email communication, and appears to enjoy conflicts instead of solving them.
I told him we paid 100 dollars VAT and import tax and that returning the shipment would cost us an additional 50 dollars, but he did not care. Instead of sending the missing item, he admonished me that I should be "more polite", and "think about that". And that was that for him. Case closed.
The filtration set cost us a total of 335 dollars, is urgently needed and totally unusable. I have no idea where to find the missing part, or even its exact specifications.
So I am check-mate. The eBay buyer protection refund will cost me 150 dollars in non-refunded taxes and return postage. The missing item is a 25-cent piece says the seller (a latex adapter). But he won't send it to me because he did not like my tone, and he did not like me filing the dispute.
Buying from this company is a big mistake if you ask me.
