- There is only one RV (Motorhome/5th wheel/RV/Pop-Up) allowed on each site. Customer's who attempt to have more then one RV on a site will be required to pay for an additional site, if available, or find additional accomodations outside the park. Vehicles 7'10" in width or 11'4" in height or larger are required to have an escort through the Zion Mt. Carmel Tunnel located between the East Entrance and Zion Canyon. Escort permits are available at the park entrances for a fee of $15.00. Escorts are available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm May - September with reduced hours October - April. Single or combined vehicles (ie a RV with a tow car attached or a vehicle towing a trailer, 5th wheel, or boat) over 50 feet long are prohibited from travelling through the park between the East Entrance and the campground. If your total length is greater than 50 feet, you must enter the park through the south entrance near the town of Springdale. Vehicles greater than 156" high (13 feet 1 inch) are prohibited from travelling through the park. Entrance into Zion NP is $25 per private vehicle for seven days. From April 1 through October 31, 2010, a mandatory shuttle system operates on the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive. Late Arrivals: You must call the campground if you will arrive more than 24 hours after the start of your reservation or your reservation will be cancelled. You will be charged for your first night's camping fee plus a $20.00 no show fee. Call Watchman Campground at 435-772-3837.
