We are a locally owned and operated, customer-oriented business specializing in hail damage repair and dent repair. Edward is a third generation auto body technician. His grandfather had his own auto body repair shop and now both his father and older brother are certified auto body technicians. Starting at 13 years old Eddie fixed up his first car project, a 1966 VW Beetle. After 10 years as a professional in the auto body industry Edward learned about Paintless Dent Removal. Seeing all of the advantages of Paintless Dent Removal, Eddie found a training program. After training in PDR for two years Eddie and Mindy went on the hail trail. We were connected with a team that fixed dealership cars. Working with many PDR technicians and in a fast paced environment greatly advanced our skills and experience. We are very grateful for the four years we spent repairing dealership cars.
After four years of traveling we wanted to permanently be in Mindy’s home state and the place we called home during the winters. We love to ski at Snowy Range, fish at Curt Gowdy and the Gap Lakes near Medicine Bow Peak, and mountain bike at Happy Jack. As much as we saw neat places while traveling there is nothing like being at home and being able to go to the mountains all year around, so we started Wyo Dent Company and we are proud and happy to be serving Wyomingites.
While on the hail trail Mindy began removing and reinstalling headliners, hoods, headlights, taillights and other removable parts so the PDR technicians could access the backsides of panels with their tools. This is the first step in hail damage and dent removal. Then in 2017 Mindy began to train in PDR.
The specialized technique we use to repair dents saves the paint and the original panels of your truck or car. Accessing the panels from behind, we gently and meticulously work the metal until the dent is gone and the metal has the original shape. Using strips of LED lights to clarify the dent, the PDR technician can make the metal flat again. The lights act almost like a magnifying glass for dents. We work the metal until there is no evidence of the dent even under the lights. All of those annoying dents will disappear and is all anyone will see is your good lucking car or truck like the day it left the show room.
