- The resort has 18 stand-alone cottages and one suite, designed by a team of fifteen architects. No two cottages are the same; each is uniquely themed. The cottage named Helicopter has a hangar outfitted with a restored coast guard chopper as its living area. The nautically inspired Maritime is a lighthouse tucked away in the forest. Other cottages include Greenhouse, styled with aluminum- and glass-side windows and glass ceilings ideal for star gazing; and Treehouse, a double-story "big-kids" cottage suspended high in the trees. All accommodations are appointed with fireplaces, flat-screen TVs, and spacious bathrooms. The resort's signature restaurant serves French cuisine prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients and produce from the property's garden or from local farmers. Meals can be complemented with a selection from the 400-plus bottle wine cellar. Specific diets can be accommodated upon request.

- Winvian provides a number of recreational activities that cater to both nature and fitness enthusiasts, as well as to the contemplative traveler. Outdoor pursuits abound in the area, with opportunities for hiking, tennis, fishing, canoeing, and golfing. (Guests are provided with muck boots and wet weather gear for hiking, as well as snow shoes and cross-country skis.) Hot-air ballooning and horseback rides are also available. Guests can stay indoors, spending time in the game room playing pool, shuffleboard, foosball, and darts, or head outdoors for a game of croquet, badminton, and horseshoes. For exercise aficionados, there is a fitness center equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, and weights. Traditional yoga and Thai yoga are offered, and personal training is available upon request.
