At Wengerd Ministries, we meet you where you are in life. Without condemning or asking you to change, we believe in you and in your dreams. We face your struggle head-on with you, and give you HOPE. We do this through teaching, preaching, coaching, and just plain listening. You’ll find us in the coffee shop one-on-one, leading Bible Studies in our home or ministering overseas. We don’t claim to have all the answers you need, but we know the One who does. We are committed to taking your questions to God and to His Word, and to partner with you—by faith—for breakthrough in your life.

- Wengerd Ministries was formed around the vision of providing practical and relevant answers from the Word of God to every person needing HOPE. After feeling prompted by God to sell his business in early 2015, Doran began looking into the eyes and hearts of people, and asking what was next for them. He started seeing quiet desperation piled onto unmet dreams and expectations. The compassion he experienced at this point came directly from God. He truly began to see people as God does. The next few years resulted in a CLC degree (Certified Life Coach), an Associates’ Degree in Biblical Studies, Licensing as a Minister of the Gospel, along with founding Wengerd Ministries in April of 2017. Doran and his wife Melissa have been married for 23 years and have 5 children, (and may have seen a thing or two in the parenting world as well.)
Doran has had to ‘own up’ to more things than he cares to recount, but one thing is for sure, he's not worried or intimidated by “hopeless situations”.
The Wengerd family has also witnessed the hand of the Lord in so many ways as they have traveled across the country following Him.
