- To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Reservations for campsites may be booked 9 months in advance for a 2-night minimum stay. However, if you make your campsite reservation within 7 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night minimum stay. To register for a campsite, the camper must be 18 years old and show proper ID. Mohawk Village / Loop B is the ONLY loop with electric sites at Watkins Glen. No beer kegs allowed at the park. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm and 8:00 am and are strictly enforced. The pool is open from the end of June to Labor Day. Children who are not toilet trained MUST wear swim diapers at the Pool. DO NOT leave dogs unattended anywhere in the park. No dogs allowed on Gorge Trail. Pet owners must show current rabies certificate. Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
