Our clinical work is specialized- we are not “eclectic therapists.” We don't do talk therapy or ask you "how are you feeling all the time.” We are not “integrationists” either. We are a group of passionate behavioral therapists that have been fully trained in top-notch therapy approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
CBT, DBT and ACT share a common purpose: behavioral change. Behavioral change is the umbrella under which all evidence-based therapies function at the end. Engaging in behaviorally oriented therapy is looking at ways in which you can strategically make changes in how you deal with your thoughts, emotions, and observable behaviors towards your goals and life values.
We are caring and compassionate behavioral therapists, truly care about our clients, and are 100% dedicated to assist you in dealing with your struggle (s) to the best we can by teaching you long lasting life skills. In our clinical work we first learn in detail what brought you to therapy, then we do our best to figure out with you what's driving that particular struggle, and finally, we strategically teach you specific skills to deal with that matter (s). We make every effort to make every session an effective one; at the end, the best indicator of our clinical work is based on how much or how little your life is improving when you leave our office.
