Company description
I was born in Springfield, Missouri and raised in Hallsville, Texas. Growing up, I always loved school — especially when it came to reading, writing, and finding unique solutions to the problems put in front of me. These interests never faded for me, and so it may come as no surprise that I wound up becoming an English teacher — at least, for a few years.
As a teacher, I discovered that I had a knack for explaining new concepts to my students in a way that was easy for them to understand, and that made the work extremely rewarding. Still, I felt that the role wasn’t quite right for me. I wanted to do something that would allow me to really help others and to constantly face new challenges. After some reflection, I decided to give law school a try. I wasn’t sure exactly which areas I wanted to practice, but I was motivated by the realm of possibilities studying law had to offer.
Once I became an attorney and started practicing law, I was not disappointed by my decision. Not only does my work satisfy my need to solve problems, but even better — I get to solve problems that truly impact the lives of my clients.
