More details
- Mission
- Valley City State University has a 100+ year history of providing students a more participatory and engaging academic and social environment through small class sizes and numerous extra-curricular opportunities. Since 1996, we have combined that tradition with a total infusion of technology into the student experience by providing all students and faculty laptop computers and software to support learning. This assists students in developing intellectually, socially, and technologically in order that they may live and lead in today's global and technologically advanced society. Beginning in 2005, VCSU offers the first online master's degree in Technology Education and have added concentrations in Library Media and Information Science along with Teaching and Technology and Teaching English Language Learners (ELL) as well.
