More details
- Mission
- "Unique" is the word most often used to describe Rio Grande. When Rio Grande Community College teamed with the University of Rio Grande almost 35 years ago, Rio Grande became more than a private comprehensive institution granting four-year baccalaureate degrees. Almost immediately, it was turned into a "people institution" offering degree programs in technologies and skills to help students get better jobs. It also became a community resource reaching out to improve the lives of all the people it serves. Today, Rio Grande (pronounced Rhy-oh) is a model for higher education into the next century.
