- No smoking in buildings. Pets are not allowed in buildings. No shooting allowed within fence around Bend Work Center site. All wheeled motor vehicles must be kept on existing roads or parking areas. No off road travel is permitted. No garbage service is provided. Take all garbage home with you. Winter travel requires high clearance vehicles with tire chains; four wheel drive is highly recommended. This facility is not handicapped accessible. Fireworks are not permitted on National Forest lands at any time. The combination to the padlock on the road gate which accesses the Bend Guard Station is the same as the combination to the lock box next to the building door which contains a key to the main floor of the building. Please make sure that the door key is returned to and secured in the lock box before you leave the site. Never take the key off site with you. Please call the district office at 406-826-3821 prior to your Arrival to confirm the combination. Cabin can only be reserved up to 180 days in advance.
