- Union Institute & University serves the mature working adult through flexible scheduling and individualized programs. Undergraduate programs have liberal policies for acceptance of prior learning credits, honoring adult learners' significant professional and personal achievements and the knowledge gained through previous work, personal, and volunteer efforts. Various delivery models are available, from classroom-based learning at the university's centers in Ohio, Florida, Vermont, and California to blended models that combine brief on-campus learning with distance learning. Some programs (BS, BA, M.Ed., and MA are available entirely at a distance, with no on-campus requirements.
