TRBenefits was founded in 1996 by current president and CEO Jim Erickson. Doing business as Bay Area Benefits, the company changed to TRBenefits in 2009 to trademark and better market our exclusive service package. TRB handles more than 700 group benefit clients in the greater bay area and services satellite offices nationwide.
TRB has become a premier group benefits broker by focusing on health insurance. At TRB, we do not “peddle” products, we administer health plans only. Brokers who deal in pension/life insurance/workers comp/ etc…cannot possibly service your account in an acceptable manner. We currently have 2 brokers and 5 administrative assistants servicing our clients. All TRB employees are salaried so that we can manage our entire client base without being influenced by a individual employees commissions
