Transwest Mobile Truck Repair was started in 2009 by Brandon Staley and Niel Townsend, both natives of Taylorsville, Utah. After reviewing economic conditions, the need for greater company fleet productivity and an alternative for traditional repair shops became prevalent.
Brandon had worked previously as a service manager at a repair shop, and Niel was majority owner of another company. They joined together and began operations that year in the heart of the recession with only one mechanic and a single truck. Their combined talents proved successful as the company grew steadily until the present day.
