Thunder Mountain Tours was started in the Summer of 2005 to provide visitors to the area and locals alike a rare glimpse into this spectacular period in history.
Thunder Mountain Tours has connections to other tour guides in the area and will be happy to pass on information about them. Also available are a number of experts who are willing to “step on” the tour. They include world class photographers, one retired museum director, one current museum director, a retired game warden, a retired forest supervisor, civil war firearms experts and re-enactors all well versed in local history and life in the 1800’s.
