- The hotel is nestled between an 18-hole PGA Golf Course and 1.5 miles of white-sand beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Water-sports activities are available beachside, including parasailing, kayaking, and Jet Skiing (seasonal). Sunrise tai chi and yoga are also available on the beach. The hotel’s freeform outdoor splash pool with deck and lounge chairs overlooks the beach. Children enjoy their own pool with waterfall and may participate in the Ritz Kids program of supervised activities for kids age 5-12. The fitness center includes Cybex machines and treadmills, and a personal trainer is available. The hotel has nine oceanside tennis courts, including five lighted courts. Two tennis pros provide group and individual instruction. The 18-hole Golf Club of Amelia Island is a PGA championship course with driving range and clubhouse.
