We combine wellness and emotional healing to help our clients gain an overall healthier lifestyle. Our professional and caring staff of seasoned addiction treatment specialists, physicians, and therapists, is dedicated to providing our patients the most comprehensive proven methods of treatment and rehabilitation. We accept most major insurance (non Medicare/Medicaid). We also have out of pocket payment options.Certified by The Joint Commission. We offer a faith-based rehab program for those who desire to integrate their faith into addiction treatment. As the detoxification process facilitates healing for the physical body and the patient begins to endure feelings, thoughts and emotions that are profound and disturbing, the sense that something else is missing from their life may make them seek the guidance of a higher power in which they have always believed but neglected to consider as a full-blown addict. Patients who have suffered several relapses may also decide to explore faith-based options provided by The Recovery Way that include the Christian, Jewish, Islamic and Buddhist faiths.Program lengths range from 30 days to 90 days depending on the patient’s needs, type of addiction and if the patient has presented a dual diagnosis of mental illness with addiction.Sometimes referred to as a “day/night” substance abuse treatment this program provides treatment for drug addicts or alcoholics that is more dynamic than outpatient programs. The goal of Residential Treatment is to facilitate the patient’s recovery from substance addiction by allowing them to concentrate on the recovery process in an environment that promotes a successful transition from addiction to sober living. As a member of The Recovery Way’s intensive outpatient program, a patient will receive a variety of services involving individual and group therapy sessions as well as education concerning therapeutic counseling methods that address issues such as relapse prevention, coping with cravings, psycho-education and understanding why it is so difficult to overcome an addiction. The majority of our patients at The Recovery Way discover that once these reasons fueling their addictive behavior is uncovered and explored through psychotherapy or cognitive behavioral therapy, the road to recovery becomes readily accessible and much less frightening.Outpatient therapists make sure that patients receive comprehensive education regarding addiction, mental health, recovery skills and ways to avert relapse. Cognitive behavioral therapy is commonly employed in outpatient programs as a highly effective psychotherapeutic tool which shows patients how to correct faulty thinking patterns, manage stress, learn new coping techniques and avoid feeling overwhelmed when faced with difficult conditions that may initiate addictive behaviors. Research into substance abuse education has found that the more a patient understands about the biopsychosocial underpinnings of addiction, the more likely it is that their recovery will be long-term and less difficult. Depending on the needs of the patient, an outpatient program can consist of daily counseling sessions with a therapist, weekly sessions or several sessions each week. Outpatient services may involve group therapy experiences as well as family therapy sessions that include members of the patient’s family who live with the patient or deal with the patient on a consistent basis.
