The MMA offers public programs for all ages focusing on astronomy, natural science, Nantucket history, and outdoor education. In addition, MMA conducts research and historic preservation programs.

- Admission to each site $6 adults, $5 children. Museum pass (for birthplace, aquarium, science museum, and Vestal St. Observatory) $10 adults, $8 children ages 6-12
