Company description
The Intrepid Sojourner Beer Project was inspired by a love of beer and a thirst for travel. With its 20 tap lines, brand-new, seven-barrel brewhouse, and a set of six seven-barrel fermenters and counting, The Intrepid Sojourner Beer Project will churn out a constant stream of classic old standbys and common modern concoctions like our American brown ale and rye imperial IPA; exotic twists on traditional styles like our chai tea-spiced brown ale; and nearly-forgotten regional beers from around the world like our Gratzer or our Sahti; as only such a dedicated microbrewery could. Our sweet Italian basil IPA might be your favorite, or perhaps the Russian garlic amber. The sweetness of our wee heavy complements the heavy oak and peat flavors expected of Islay scotches. Our hefeweizen with apricots and Moroccan dates adds a Mediterranean flair to the German classic; the Belgian golden strong forms a trans-Atlantic alliance with Latin American-inspired flavors of barrel-aged tequila, cocoa, and chili peppers. Chinese pears travel the Silk Road to flavor our Saison. Our stout with Turkish coffee and cardamom and sweet orange peel evokes the Arabic tradition of serving coffee. Embark on an adventure around the world from the comfortable confines of our tasting room at 925 W 8th Ave. in the Art District on Santa Fe, where you'll appreciate our commitment to exotic and high-quality ingredients and no-corners-cut brewing and our attention to every sensory detail like the ideal glassware for each brew. Visit a neighborhood art gallery before or after stopping by The Intrepid Sojourner Beer Project to treat yourself to a time to learn about beer making and tasting, to make some new friends, and of course to explore some great beer.
