Suites in the 19th-century Charles Orvis Inn have been elegantly restored, and the residence features a library and cozy sitting areas with fireplace; a spacious shared porch invites guests to embrace the scenic New England setting. The 1811 House's guest rooms, all of which overlook the historic Manchester Village or surrounding gardens, offer a romantic ambiance, complemented by wood-burning fireplaces, canopy beds, oriental rugs, and antique decor. Elegant townhouses include 30 bedrooms, 10 of them suites, with fireplaces, kitchens, and living areas, and unparalleled Green Mountain views. The Marsh Tavern showcases classic New England cuisine, while hearty, country-style breakfasts are served at the elegant Colonnade. Chop House features fine steaks in a lodge-style setting, with leather banquettes and large wood furniture. Soft lighting generated from an original Orvis stone hearth, a former gathering place for the Green Mountain Boys, adds to the refined atmosphere. The Dormy Grill, located on the deck of The Equinox Golf Club clubhouse, offers light fare and panoramic mountain views. Guests can enjoy decadent gourmet chocolates and area cheeses, accompanied by an extensive wine list or single-malt scotches, at Falcon Bar.

More than 100 miles of trails spread across 1, 300 acres invite guests to pedal or hike through the countryside setting. Guests can fly fish in the Equinox Pond or in the nearby Battenkill River, and golfers can tee off at the Reese Jones-designed 18-hole course at The Golf Club at Equinox. There are three tennis courts and one swimming pool on site; other unique offerings include the British School of Falconry and Land Rover Off Road Driving School. The Stratton and Bromley Ski areas, a short drive away, offer skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and more. The resort's surrounding countryside abounds with art, antiquing, farmers' markets, and historical sites.

- Located at the base of the majestic Mount Equinox, The Spa at Equinox is designed to reflect the energy and healing elements of the mountains. Decor incorporates native marble, slate, wood, and stone, and an extensive spa menu of massage, facial, and body treatments use elements indigenous to the region, such as maple sugar, wildflowers, and mineral clay. Treatment rooms total 10; additional amenities in the 13, 000-square-foot spa include separate men's and women's saunas and steam bath and a relaxation lounge with a fireplace. The adjoining state-of-the-art fitness facility features a heated indoor swimming pool and movement studio.
