The Awning Company is a family owned and operated business specializing in quality, custom made fabric awnings in Orange County and San Diego. We have over 15 years of experience creating custom shade solutions for clients throughout Southern California and excel at designing, fabricating, and installing fixed awnings, retractable awnings, slide-on-wire awnings, shade sails, cabanas, solar sun screens, drop shades, and entrance canopies. These shade structures are made to complement their surroundings, function beautifully, and last for years. At The Awning Company, we primarily use brand name materials for our shades structures. Our preferred brands are Sunbrella (outdoor fabrics), Twitchell (vinyl and mesh fabrics), Gore-Tex® (thread), BAT USA (hardware), Spettmann (hardware) and Somfy (motors and sensors). We also use lasting metals, such as stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, galvanized steel, or extruded aluminum, to build our structural frames. This metal is fully welded at the joints and powder-coated in a two-step process for impressive corrosion resistance.
