I am Susan Thiess – Your Full-Time Real Estate Professional. I have lived in Barrington for the past 22 years and in the Chicago area for a total of 42 years – I know this area well and love sharing it with others to get the most for them whether they are buying or selling in our communities. I am very involved in the area as a Past President of Barrington Newcomers & Neighbors, a current member of Barrington Chamber of Commerce, and I sing in my church choir (First Congregational Church). I'm an election judge, Associate Member of the Marine Corps League- Detachment 1395, and actively involved with Veterans R&R – I love this area and truly give my heart and soul to it.
My clients love my service which is usually above-and-beyond their expectations. I am a very good listener and problem solver. Some of my listening skills are the result of my training and degrees in social psychology. I really love the negotiating process, which intimidates many people. I'm certified in Real Estate Negotiation. I have earned the Five Star Professional Award from Chicago Magazine and am a member of the Baird & Warner Chairman's Club as a result of my dedication to my clients.
