- Founded in 1906, Suffolk University is a four-year private university located in downtown Boston. The University offers more than 70 undergraduate programs through its College of Arts & Sciences and Sawyer Business School. Suffolk provides students the excitement of an urban setting with access to New England???s leading business, government, legal, medical, and nonprofit communities. The University also has campuses in Madrid, Spain; and Dakar, Senegal. The academic programs offered at Suffolk provide students with the opportunity to pursue their interests while learning in a personal, hands-on environment. They can capture the news from behind the camera at Suffolk???s new high-definition television studio, experience the future of energy at the Sagan Research Lab, study intercultural communication at Suffolk Madrid, or take the nation???s pulse at the Suffolk University Political Research Center. They can even learn to design the next great video game in our Interactive Media and Game Development program or study the stars in our Astrophysics program. Our unique downtown location offers students access to internship and co-op opportunities in a wide range of fields, helping them gain important work experience while they complete their undergraduate degree.
