And if the antenna wasn’t twisted in just the right direction, we would get “ghosting”, fuzziness or “snow”. STV was an early adopter of advanced technology to be a pioneer in home TV products. So, in 1979 he began introducing the “new” satellite TV antennas to his customers. Of course, those required a big setup area because they were originally giant, 12-foot diameter satellite dishes!
