- From Brooklyn: Take the S-53 bus which originates in Bay Ridge at 95th Street and 4th Avenue (near the BMT subway) to the Broadway entrance to the Zoo. From the Staten Island Ferry: Take the S-48 bus at the Ferry Terminal on Staten Island. Exit at the intersection of Forest Avenue and Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and walk 3 1/2 blocks to the Zoo entrance.
