The Starlight Theatre has an unusual history. It was not initially meant to be a performance venue, but was created as a meeting facility for those shiners. The lavish interior was meant to resemble courtyard. The theater's ceiling was painted as a night sky, complete with twinkling stars and moving clouds produced with the help of a unique projector. The lobby areas and lounges were full of ornate details. Even essential structural elements were cleverly disguised by decorative capabilities.
