Spreo has developed unique technology to meet the market demand and challenges. GPS does not work indoors. Large venues such as hospitals, malls, airports, casinos, factories and corporate campuses have a need for indoor/outdoor location services. Functions such as indoor navigation, location sharing, location tracking of people and assets, location analytics and location-based content delivery are lacking in large public venues. Spreo has developed unique technology solutions. The technology uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons, existing or enhanced venue Wi-Fi infrastructure and the Wi-Fi based ‘Apple Core Location’ technology for Indoor Positioning. The position is estimated using one or more mathematical locating algorithms, such as proximity trilateration and triangulation.
