Company description
SLAPPA was founded in 2002, when a simple disc storage idea turned into a business. SLAPPA designed and patented the d2 pocket system - allowing disc + cover art storage in layered pockets and launched the HardBody PRO disc storage case line, which was immediately adopted by pro-audio, DJ and audiophile circles. In 2005 SLAPPA was granted another patent for our d2i slide-n-lock pages, enabling each page “square” to attach and separate from one another. Also in 2005 the company launched its first series of laptop backpacks and cases. In 2006 the company launched its second website www.slappa.ca, and expanded into 8 international markets. In 2007 SLAPPA launched www.slappa.co.uk. In 2010 www.slappa.com.au was launched. The company also offered our first "build your own product" capabilities with the M.A.S.K. Backpacks. In 2011 we brought out our next "build your own" product with the KIKEN laptop shoulder bags. In 2012 we brought out the Transit "build your own" messenger bags. These are just a few of the highlights of our first 11 years in business.
