The Silver Bison Ranch, LLC. has been in the business of raising North American Plains Bison since 1992. Many items available from the Silver Bison Ranch, LLC. are hand made by Native Americans living in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
In addition to selling meat directly to the consumer, the Silver Bison Ranch, LLC. markets all-natural meat products to restaurants in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metropolitan area. Our meat contains no steroids, growth hormones, or antibiotics. All bison at the ranch is open range raised and are never exposed to a feedlot.
Our animals are definitely happy and healthy, and that directly relates to a better environment for them, and all of us, to live in. This holistic approach to managing ranch resources protects all the species that live here. Many types of native grasses, trees, pheasant, whitetail deer, and monarch butterflies are just a few of the species that thrive in this environment.
