- Seton Hill University, founded by the Sisters of Charity in 1885, is a coeducational Catholic liberal arts university in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Seton Hill currently enrolls more than 2,000 students and offers more than 30 undergraduate programs, 8 graduate programs, including an MBA, and an Adult Degree Program. Located 35 miles east of Pittsburgh in southwestern Pennsylvania???s Laurel Highlands, Seton Hill educates dedicated practitioners and leaders. Seton Hill brings the world to its students through distinguished lecturers and nationally and internationally renowned centers, including the National Catholic Center for Holocaust Education and the E-Magnify Women???s Business Center. The development of partnerships and programs that serve the regional community are important to Seton Hill. The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) opened a medical school site on Seton Hill University???s Greensburg, Pa. campus in 2009. LECOM at Seton Hill accepts medical school students from across the country, in addition to students from Seton Hill University. Seton Hill???s Orthodontics Program, the newest component of the University???s health sciences programming, combines advanced instruction in biomedical and clinical sciences with teaching, research and clinical experiences to prepare dental school graduates to provide the best orthodontic and dentofacial care according to standards established by the American Board of Orthodontics. Program residents, who will have already earned a DDS or DMD, will complete a 30-month program. The University also houses a newly constructed 73,000 square-foot Performing Arts Center in the heart of Greensburg???s Cultural District. The Performing Arts Center is home to Seton Hill???s growing programs in music, theatre, dance and community music.
