- No person may camp in Blackwoods and or Seawall campground for more than a total of 14 days, from May 1 through October 31. Campground does NOT have hookups of any kind. Dump station and potable water fill are available within the campground. Restroooms with cold running water and flush toilets are located throughout the campground. All sites are equipped with a picnic table and fire place/ring with grill top. Picnic area on ocean shore located directly across from campground entrance. Campground does not have a playground facility, game room or showers. Coin-op showers are located approximately 1 mile away. If you are going to be later than 12pm (noon) on the day following your reservation, you must call 207-244-3600. Late arrivals who fail to call or check in will lose their site after 12pm (noon) on the second day of their reservation. All vehicles must possess or purchase upon arrival a valid entrance pass; weekly passes are $20.00. Acadia annuals are $40.00. No fireworks permitted. Pets must be leashed and attended at all times. Fires in fire rings only. Firewood available in nearby communities. Quiet hours 10pm to 8am. Generator quiet hours 7pm to 8am. Showers available 1 mile from campground entrance, hiking, swimming, picnicking, etc. General information available at campground kiosk and at park visitors centers. Can call for special request, but not a guarantee. Seawall does maintain sites for first come first serve camping. Shuttle bus is available from late June to September 30th. Fishing; no license required to saltwater fish. In state fishing license is required for freshwater. Altitude: Sea level Limit 1 vehicle per site, all others must park in extra lot Reservations are not site specific. A site will be assigned upon arrival.
