Our exceptional faculty offer outstanding programs in the Humanities, Arts and Sciences as well as nationally recognized programs in professional fields including Business, Engineering and Nursing and pre-professional programs in Education, Law and Medicine. We have one professor for every 13 students and we provide them with rich opportunities to learn by engaging and interacting with their teachers and with each other. Seattle University offers 61 undergraduate and 39 graduate programs. Our new facilities, including our new library and learning commons, provide students with state-of-the-art learning and communications technology. Athletics, fitness and recreation foster the lifelong physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual development of our students. Our 17 NCAA Division One athletics teams and robust intramural sports offerings are complemented by our Outdoor Adventure Recreation program, designed to provide opportunities to enjoy the beautiful and natural surroundings of the Pacific Northwest.
