Parking
Short-term parking is available at Terminal A and immediately opposite Terminal C. There is one long-term parking on the west side of the airport. Free courtesy shuttles making a continuous loop of the two terminals pick up passengers in various well-marked areas throughout the long-term parking. Facilities for disabled travelers include lifts, disabled toilets and TDD telephones. Wheelchair assistance can be provided by Skycaps; passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. Disabled parking is available in all airport parking.
Rail
The VTA Airport Flyer shuttle bus (408) 321 2300; www.vta.org runs a continuous loop between the airport and Santa Clara Caltrain station and the San Jose Metro/Airport LRT station. There are excellent light rail and metro train routes to destinations across the Bay area.
Airport Overview
The airport’s new Terminal B, eventually replacing the existing Terminal C, is currently under construction and due to open in 2010. Building of a new car rental/parking complex is also under way, along with improvements to Terminal A facilities.
