- Alerts And Important Information
- To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Reservations for campsites may be booked 9 months in advance for a 2-night minimum stay. However, if you make your campsite reservation within 7 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night minimum stay. The park has 245 electric sites located in loops 1-5 with both 30 and 20 Amp service. Due to the location of the power posts on some sites, an extension cord may be needed. These sites offer a mixture of open and shaded sites with a comfort station in each loop. Sites 301 through 364 (loop 6) are basic non-electric sites in an open field (little to no shade) with a beautiful view of the lake. Sites 59, 60 and 61 are for use by persons with disabilities unless all other sites are occupied. All sites are within walking distance of most park facilities. None of the sites offer hook-ups for sewer or water but there are dump and fresh water fill stations near the park office. There are fountains in each loop for filling water jugs but no hoses may be connected to these faucets. Only one wheeled camping unit and two motor vehicles are allowed per site. Tent campers may place two tents totaling not more than 225 square feet on a site. Boats on trailers may be left on site, if sufficient room is available, or placed in a rented slip at the marina. A maximum of two household pets are permitted on a site. Pets must be caged or on a leash no more than six feet in length and not left unattended. Pets are permitted in most areas of the park with the exception of the playground, beach area and inside park buildings including comfort stations. Pet owners are required to clean up pet waste. A current certificate of rabies vaccination must be presented at check-in for all pets. Quiet time at the park is from 10:00 PM to 7:00 Am. Only registered site occupants and vehicles are permitted in the park during this time. The park office normally closes at 8:00pm but staff is available to assist campers in getting to their site after this time. Please be aware that there is a Dog Show at the park from Sept 26 - Oct. 4, 2010 during which sites will not be available for reservations. Peak season: A person may be the primary site occupant for 14 total days of camping within a 16 day period. S/he must leave the park for 48 hours once they have stayed the maximum number of days allowed before beginning a new reservation.
