Prince George’s Community College offers skilled-trades training and certification at its Westphalia Training Center. Students receive hands-on training in critical construction trade areas including residential, industrial, and commercial construction; building maintenance engineer training; carpentry; electricity; residential wiring; heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC/R) certification; locksmithing; plumbing; and welding training. The center also offers a free Sustainable Energy and Workforce Development Program; transportation programs and certifications; and hair braiding and make-up artistry instruction.
