- Welcome to Precision Auto Repair Inc.! Precision Auto Repair Inc. is a hi tech auto repair shop on North side of Chicago, near Belmont and Central. We specialize mostly (but not only) in European cars: Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar, Saab, Mini, etc. Precision Auto Repair was established in March of 2000 at 3611 N Pulaski in Chicago. In 2005 the shop was moved to 3034 N Central Ave also in Chicago and that's where we are today. The auto repair shop is run Anna and Andy. What hi tech means? Well is means that be sides "regular" work we specialize in "hard to fix" problems in today's technologically advanced cars. We fix drive-ability problems associated with engine and transmission, failed emission test, warning lights (Check Engine, ABS, Air Bag, SRS, ASR and all other lights on instrument cluster), heating and A/C, charging and starting, instrument clusters, anti theft, entertainment systems, body comfort systems, computers and computer networks, etc., you get the picture. We also program keys and re-flash (update software) various control modules (GM for now). We mostly work on European imports (Mercedes, BMW, Mini, Audi, Porsche, VW, Volvo, Saab, Jaguar, Land Rover) but we gladly will fix your Camry, Accord or Taurus. We don't work on exotics (Lotus, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, etc.) but I can send you to an honest auto repair shop that does this sort of stuff. OK, so you know what we do, now let me tell you how we do it. We use common sense approach first off all. Yes I know that you don't like to spend money (neither do I ;)) but I also know that you want to have safe, fully functional, dependable car. I will provide you with enough info so you can an educated decision that's rite for you. After all I don't know if you going to store that car for a month or you are taking your family on a trip across a Mojave dessert (and don't you complain if your belt brakes in the middle of it cus I told you so). Anyway if you have a sick car that needs a fix give us a try you might like us.
