If you want to resolve your IRS issues, contact them. If you’re looking to waste time and keep placing your IRS issues on hold, don’t call them. They are experts and they helped me get back on track. I used to be a truck driver back in the late 90s and I ended filing all of my tax years in 2000 as soon as I filed Bankruptcy… that was wrong. The IRS concluded I owed $64,000. Their attorney work determined that given that I am finally retired and on fixed income, I can no longer pay this. I would never even think to fight the IRS alone. I attempted to contact them and even that was a task within itself. I’d talk to a different guy whenever I called and they didn’t care about my problem or helping me to resolve it.
