The Roueche Graduate Center provides oversight of the master's and doctoral degree programs offered at NAU. The center is named after Dr. John E. Roueche who also serves as the President of the Roueche Graduate Center. His name may sound familiar because he previously served as the Sid W. Richardson Chair and Director, Community College Leadership Program at the University of Texas at Austin. The Roueche Graduate Center is home of the Harold D. Buckingham Graduate School. Named after NAU's visionary founder, the Harold D. Buckingham Graduate School honors his dream to offer relevant degree programs with flexible study options. The Roueche Graduate Center offers a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Community College Leadership that is designed for senior administrators, faculty, and other aspiring leaders who opt for a doctorate to be well prepared for leadership positions in community and technical colleges. NAU also offers the Executive MBA Leadership Program through the Roueche Graduate Center. This program is offered for experienced managers who want to advance in their career to a higher more responsible leadership position.
