Company description
Musicfest Northwest is part learning experience, part competition and all about the art of performing. Established in 1945 as The Greater Spokane Music and Allied Arts Festival, Musicfest Northwest still has nine Divisions including Ballet, Brass, Flute, Guitar, Organ, Piano, reed, String and Voice. Over 1,000 entries of age and skill levels from novice to post- graduate, perform for independently hired judges in master class settings. Young Artist winners perform with Spokane Symphony and Adjudicators choice winners perform in Festival Highlights in two free evening concerts. Festival week is second week of May.
