- UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP SINCE 0CT 31 2007. Moon's Kitchen is YOUR Comfort Food Headquarters! Come in and experience a nostalgic diner that has been serving Boise since 1955. Our goal was to hire the best diner cooks in Boise and we believe we have them! Bob Dempsey and Lisa Kugel took over in October 2007. Moon’s clientele has always been eclectic! Our clientele ranges from starving college students to State Senators. In the past Moon’s may have been known as a greasy spoon, it still is in that fun way diners play with all things deep fried, however, healthy fare is offered as well. Check out the super salad entrée’s and you can always substitute a Garden Burger for any Burger offering on the menu! If Breakfast is where you’re at then Moon’s is where you need to be!
