The Mexico City Restaurant and Lounge first opened in 1968 in the Historic Larimer District now known as the Ballpark Neighborhood- one block from Coors Field. Our authentic Mexican food, made fresh daily with the highest quality of ingredients, has brought back generations of customers with family and friends for over 40 years. We are best known for our famous fried steak tacos as well as several of our other specialties like our authentic hot and mild green chile, chile rellenos, menudo and breakfast burrito to name a few.
