An accredited member of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association, the Memphis Zoo works cooperatively with animal facilities and organizations around the world, in order to further its mission of preserving wildlife through conservation, education and research. Aware that the zoo of tomorrow begins today, our staff & volunteers are dedicated to providing a naturalistic & enriching sanctuary for our animals, and a clean, friendly, entertaining and educational experience for our guests. The Memphis Zoo’s animal inhabitants reside in one-of-a-kind exhibits like Once Upon A Farm, Commercial Appeal Cat Country, Primate Canyon, Animals of the Night, Northwest Passage & China.
