*Poor customer service. Parents and students are quite often confused as to the expectations of the school.
*McDojo. Look it up. You will be more informed because of it.
*Expensive contracts required.
*Misleading website advertising. Out of the 12 people listed on the 'Our Staff' page, only five are still actively employed by M.A.I.
*Don't be lured in by the summer 'special'. After a low first month price, the tuition cost will double.
*The owner is a great instructor with a HUGE ego and you will never see him. (See the photos on the studio wall and you will know what I mean.)
*Expensive equipment requirements that can only be purchased through the school.
*Expensive testing fees to get to the next belt level.
*The anti-bullying program does not seem to apply to one of the main instructors who himself behaves like a bully.
*All of the great instructors have left the business leaving less than fully trained leadership students teaching the classes.
*Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere for martial arts training. You will be glad that you did!
