- This area provides access to the Maroon Bells - Snowmass Wilderness. To view the regulation, visit the White River National Forest website. Details of your recreation event or wedding must be disclosed and approved prior to day of the event. This includes items you want to bring onto the site. No bird seed or confetti is allowed. No electric music or PA systems are allowed. Pack up decorations after event. There are dumpsters in nearby campgrounds. No potable drinking water is available at this site. There are no electrical hookups or outlets. Pets must be on a leash. Expect summer afternoon thunderstorms. Vehicle restrictions from mid June - September. Due to popularity of recreation in the Maroon Bells Scenic Area shuttle buses operate during the summer months. They run daily from the middle of June through Labor Day and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through the month of September. Maroon Creek Road is restricted to thru traffic from 9:00am - 5:00pm in conjunction with the shuttle bus. See Website for more Info:
