Mark Silverman has settled hundreds of disputes on favorable terms for people who had tenancy issues, work comp or other injuries. When cases cannot be settled, Mark has resolved more than one hundred cases by trial or arbitration. Sometimes he has obtained successful rulings for Chicago and Evanston renters at the Illinois Appellate Court, including Nadhir v. Salomon 2011 IL App (1st) 110851, Ranjha v. BJB Properties 2013 IL App (1st) 122155, and Boyer v Buol 2014 IL App (1st) 132780. Mark wrote chapter 9, "The Chicago Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance," for the Chicago Bar Association's 2008 "A Young Lawyer's Guide to Real Estate Practice". Mark has been quoted in Crain's Chicago Business Magazine and the Chicago Tribune.
