A private, residential, undergraduate institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), Lyon is located in Batesville, Arkansas. Founded in 1872, it is the oldest institution in the state. Lyon is distinguished by the quality of its faculty, its student-run honor system, the beauty of its campus and its endowed international studies program. Lyon faculty have been named CASE Arkansas Professor of the Year on 14 occasions in the past 20 years, a record unmatched by any college in the country.
