Company description
Horse Barn Hinesburg at Livery Horse farm. It had been a lifelong dream of Kim’s to own a horse barn where kids could learn to ride and she could share her love of horses.
The Livery Horse Farm was established in 1992 when Kim and Scott bought the old Lavigne cow farm in Hinesburg, VT.
The barn was converted to a horse barn using wood from the silo. The out buildings were transformed into the hay barn, numerous horse run-ins, as well as, a chicken house and blacksmith shop.
Over the years, improvements have been made, and made again. All old fencing replaced, rewiring of the barn, enlarging the refooting the riding ring, and structural renovations of the barn while keeping the look of the authentic Vermont farm.
