In surgical private practice for more than 25 years, Dr. Leon Egozi, MD, FACS, ABAARM is one of South Florida’s most prominent surgeons. After more than two decades of successful surgical practice, Dr. Egozi sought to explore new ways to personalize and progress his approach patient care, and began his training and board certification in the area of Functional Medicine. By doing so, he saw an opportunity to push the boundaries of what traditional medicine could offer his patients, focusing not only on the treatment of disease, but taking a more holistic approach to health that considers hormonal balance, nutrition, genetic predisposition and other important factors that can impact patient treatment and outcome.
