We offer a wide range of DNA tests and services to address family relationship questions and personal situations ranging from common to complex. These include routine DNA paternity tests and maternity tests, as well as more specialized types of DNA tests to address sibling, grandparent, aunts, uncle, paternal lineage and maternal lineage relationships. Although cheek swab samples are used for most paternity and family relationship tests, we can also test blood samples, prenatal samples, fingernail clippings, hair (with roots), and other biological fluids or tissue samples. For most DNA tests, we offer both a "PERSONAL" (not court admissible) and a "LEGAL" (court-admissible) testing option. Our legally-admissible DNA paternity tests are accepted by California Superior Courts, including the Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Orange County family courts. We have over 50 convenient sample collection locations throughout Southern California, and we also offer evening, weekend, and mobile service.

Dr. John Taddie is Director of LB Genetics. Sometimes he says, "Who's the Daddy? Ask Dr. Taddie!" to make you laugh, but he is very serious about his profession. Dr. Taddie has over 15 years of experience in DNA paternity testing, has supervised over 150,000 DNA paternity and family relationship tests, and has testified as DNA expert witness in over 50 California civil and criminal court trials. Dr. Taddie and the staff of LB Genetics are dedicated to helping people with diverse and often very difficult personal situations answer important questions through DNA testing. We understand and appreciate that every situation is very personal, and very private. Because some family relationship questions and personal circumstances can present special challenges in DNA testing, we believe in taking the time to listen to our clients, to understand their needs, to advise them of their options, and to determine the best testing approach for their particular situation. If we do not believe there is a DNA test available that will provide a clear answer to your question, then we will tell you so. Unlike other companies, we don’t believe in selling you a test that won’t help you, just to make money.
